Tyler Bros (Sutton in Ashfield) Ltd – a family business since 1914
Tybro (as we are also known) was founded before the First World War and has been a part of the changing technology that has transformed the engineering world for the past century.
Progressing from motor and electrical engineers to precision engineering, Tyler Bros soon established an enviable reputation for its excellent standards – and today we continue to go from strength to strength.

A true family concern, spanning four generations, Directors Frank & Mandy Tyler have overseen a programme of considerable investment, increasing capacity and flexibility in order to reduce costs and lead times for customers.

It all starts here
Tyler Bros was established in 1914 by Harry Tyler originally repairing bicycles.

Incorporation
In 1962 Tyler Bros (Sutton-In-Ashfield) was incorporated

Going underground
Tyler Bros helped London underground redesign the stop switches, this contract still remains in place today.
1980
New factory
The year we built our current factory in Kirkby-In-Ashfield.
